I have a set of nested folders, that I reuse for new projects, I want to remove the requirement to ever password to change a folder name.

I have a set up nested folders I've created that contain sub folders for when I go to Tom project so I don't have to constantly keep creating the folder sets again, they were created under previous account, which was mine but now all of a sudden, every time I go to rename the folder. Or make any changes at all. I am forced to enter my password. I want to permanently remove this. I have change the permissions to read and write permissions, resolving the issue at all.

Thank you I need to be asked for your help.

Additional information, I created this set of folders with subfolders on a previous Mac, of which I was the owner, on this new Mac, of which I have the same folders I am now trying to make myself the owner, so I have permissions and I don’t have to enter the password every time I copy and paste the fold and make updates to it, here’s the problem the previous owner was my name. The current owner is my name as a result when I follow the instructions that you have provided it’s ignoring the owner issue because the previous owner and the current owner are the same and still requires me to enter the password every time I have reached out to Apple and they said, there is nothing that can be done about this. I just have to keep entering the password. Every time I need to make any changes to the set of folders I know there has to be a solution out there. Please help me.
