I Can't Download iMovie 2 Apple iMac Catalina 10.15.7, Macintosh Fusion? The Specs Are Listed Below

I recently purchased an upgraded Apple 27" iMacOS Catalina 10.15.7 Macintosh Fusion. Release date 2012. When I tried to download iMovie from the app store, the message says the following:

**********************************************************************************************

iMovie can't be installed on Macintosh Fusion, because macOS version 13.4 or later is required

**********************************************************************************************

I'm not computer wiz. I was told iMovie was compatible with all Mac's. I've been to **** and back trying to figure out a way to download it. I only purchased it, so I could edit videos using iMovie. It won't even allow me to download OBS or FinalCut Pro either. It look like all the apps use to be on here before (iMovie through iLife), but now they're all gone. I hate to send it back, because I really love the Mac. I have 2 more months to decide if I want to send it back for a refund. I paid $649 plus taxes for it. I was so happy, when I received it, but now I'm depressed and stressed. If there are any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

That iMac is extremely old and outdated.

My advice would be to return it and get the latest brand new M2 Mac mini for around the same price. You would also need a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

A perfectly good new (non-Apple) 27" monitor will cost just over £100 whilst a keyboard is £10 and a mouse £5, all available on Amazon, including the Mac mini heavily discounted.

The M2 Mac mini is the latest cutting edge technology and will blow the iMac out of the water. Many many times faster.
