JBL Clip3 shower speaker not pairing with iPhone 15

I contacted JBL about Clip3 shower speaker not connecting to my new 15 after it had with my old iPhone X and they had me reset device by pressing the center triangle and + sign together for 3 seconds which turns it off and resets it. When I turned it back on, iPhone 15 FINALLY found it hurray!
