Mobile service

Hello I’ve been using a i phone 11 for about 4-5 months now n it seemed alright when I switched mobile services before it worked 100% fine but this evening after I picked it up it randomly said my network provider is locked and I need to set up mobile services even tho my SIM card is in my phone (it also says no sim at the top close to the Wi-Fi icon )

Hello 4mi,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. From the information you provided it sounds like your iPhone is locked to the original carrier prior to making the switch to your current carrier. You'll need to contact the original carrier and request to unlock your iPhone. Once that's done, you'll be able to use your iPhone with your new carrier. You can review details of unlocking an iPhone through this helpful article: How to unlock your iPhone for use with a different carrier - Apple Support

Best regards.
