Unable to add Emoji to Contact Photo after iOS 17 Update

Since IOS 17 update I don't have the ability to add an emoji to a contact - only photo, poster, monogram or a memoji (which is limited to only 26 choices). I do not have a photo of all my contacts / acquaintances, so I like to add an emoji...e.g. Domino's has a pizza slice for contact photo, FedEx, has a box, etc. How do I get the full list of emoji's back in order to add to a contact (not referring to a text message, that is fine :) Thank you in advance! Brenda

@XianM_FLL - First assign the poster - just choose monogram, then Done > Continue > Choose a different photo >Choose Emoji. You can now can choose an emoji for the contact photo :)
