Stop MacBook Air from prompting me to sign into my outdated Apple ID on iCloud

I am signed into my correct Apple ID account, but my Mac continues to prompt me to sign into a second, outdated account. How do I stop this window from popping up everyday? I already attempted to delete all the related files in the keychain access.

Hi brucknerj10,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We recommend to restart your Mac in safe mode. This is a step that helps to verify your startup disk, delete some system caches and more. Once the Mac is in safe mode, please restart it as normal and see if you continue to see the prompt to sign in for that Apple ID account. If needed, here's how to restart the Mac in safe mode:

Start up your Mac with Apple silicon in safe mode
1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > Shut Down.
2. Wait for your Mac to shut down completely. A Mac is completely shut down when the screen is black and any lights (including in the Touch Bar) are off.
3. Press and hold the power button on your Mac until “Loading startup options” appears.
4. Select a volume.
5. Press and hold the Shift key, then click Continue in Safe Mode.
6. The computer restarts automatically. When the login window appears, you should see “Safe Boot” in the menu bar.

Following these steps may help and is outlined in this article: https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/start-up-your-mac-in-safe-mode-mh21245/mac

Kind regards.
