Airpods 3 flashes amber followed by green blink, won't connect

My left airpod was not being detected after a battery drain. (Not 0 but around ~10%).

This morning, when I tried to connect, my case was showing at 10% and right Airpod at 100%.

I left the case connected to charger for a while, and now it was no longer detecting the left one. (right one and case at 100%)

So, I tried following the reset, disconnected airpods from both my phone (they have diff. apple ids), and tried to perform reset by pressing the button for 15-20 seconds with lid open (and airpods in).

And no matter what I try, I can't get them to detect on phone.

Pressing the button for ~10 seconds, now show 3 amber blink, followed by a green blink.

When I open the lid, it shows green light, so definitely they are charged enough.

Hi there ashwanihere,

If you are having issues connecting your AirPods with your iPhone, these steps from If your AirPods or AirPods Pro won't connect can help resolve what's happening:

If you can't connect to your iPhone or iPad
1. Update your iPhone or iPad to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
2. Put both AirPods in the charging case and make sure that both AirPods are charging.
3. To make sure that Bluetooth is on, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
4. If your AirPods are connected, make sure that they're selected as your audio device. If your AirPods appear in the list of devices but they don't connect, go to the next step.
5. Close the lid, wait 15 seconds, then open the lid.
6. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the charging case for up to 10 seconds. The status light on the front of the charging case should flash white, which means that your AirPods are ready to connect.

7. Hold the charging case, with your AirPods inside and the lid open, next to your iPhone or iPad.
8. Follow the steps on the screen of your iPhone or iPad.
9. If you still can't connect, reset your AirPods or contact Apple Support.

If this continues to occur after following those steps and after resetting the AirPods, use the last step to contact Apple Support next. They would be the best suited to look into your available options going forward.

Cheers!
