My phone says sos at the top but has a SIM card in, what do I do?

My phone will not send or receive calls and says sos at the top and when I restart it, nothing changes and I also took out the SIM card and put it back in and it still won’t work

iPhone 14 Pro unable to make calls and send messages after iOS 26 update I just updated my iPhone 14 Pro to ios 26 as soon as the official release came out yesterday the 15th of September 2025. Today I realised I cannot make calls as it keeps saying called failed and can't send messages as it keeps saying not delivered. How ever I realised I can receive calls and messages. I can also make FaceTime calls and WhatsApp calls and messages too. I have reset my Network settings, turned of the phone and removed the SIM card and inserted it back, I have put the phone on airplane mode and off but sadly nothing worked. I put in another SIM card to check if it was my SIM card but realised it was coming from the phone as the same problem continued. There is a bug somewhere causing this issue that urgently needs to be fixed.
