Apple Watch add data

I walk on my treadmill for 3 miles and my watch logs as less. I understand why. How can I edit the miles. When I add the additional mileage through the add button it adds to walking in the health app but does not update the fitness app mileage in total distance with activity rings. I would like to edit the mileage logged not just add.

Hello Res19hud,

It is not currently possible to edit/alter the results of a workout. You can try calibrating the watch to try and give you more accurate results: Calibrate your Apple Watch for improved Workout and Activity accuracy

If the treadmill you're on is compatible with Apple devices, you can connect the watch to it so it provides exact distance info to your workout instead of just an estimation. Use gym equipment with Apple Watch

If you'd like to see an option added to the workout where you can manually enter the distance, you can submit that suggestion to Apple through their feedback site: Product Feedback

Cheers!
