"The device is rebooting continuously and the service centre has informed me that the touch bar is not working and the complete key pad, touch bar and battery needs to be replaced as this is a single unit."

Seems it may be stuck in a boot loop. This typically occurs when you go about downloading something or installing a an update, and is stalls while in the process.

Troubleshooting a Rebooting macOS:

A. Restore froma Backup:

Did you ever create a backup of your Mac? If so, restore your Mac from it

B. Updating in Safe Mode:

(Hold Down: the shift key upon boot). In Safe Mode, login items do not load at log in, certain System Preferences are set aside, and damages system files (caches) are fixed.

C. Re-Mount the Drive:

Boot into Recovery Mode (Intel or Silicon) . Then, using Disk Utility, see if the Hard Drive is seem. If it is, then see if you need to click the “Mount’ button for it. Try rebooting once more. If of no success, then click unmount button, and then the mount button. Try rebooting once more.

If None of the Above Works...

D. Reinstall the macOS:

Go Here: How to Reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery - Apple SupportImportant: Be certain to create a backup of your Mac prior to all of this. That way, you can have something to restore from the Mac from, should anything go wrong with the reinstall. Once reinstalled, try this once more.

"Already done all this: There is no light on touch bar so they said that the touch bar is the problem"

Troubleshooting Disappeared Touch Bar:

I. Terminal Commands to Try:

Open Terminal: Applications > Utilities > Terminal

  • If Control Strip Disappears:
sudo killall ControlStrip
  • Reset the TouchBar:
sudo pkill touchbarserver
  • Relaunch the Touch Bar:
sudo pkill “Touch Bar agent”

II. Single-Out this User:

What happens when you create a new administrator user? Try doing so, ask see if you get it issue. If not, then it is an mis configuration in the current user. If so, then it is an issue with the entire macOS.

OK, so what's the issue? Providing that here, perhaps you can get the info you need.

The mac book was purchased in 2021. I have been informed that there is a hardware issue and since the device is out of warranty this will be a paid service.I have asked apple support to provide me an exception on the charges as the machine is only 2 years old and if a mac book pro cannot sustain for more than 2 years then there is no point in buying such a top end and expensive product
