In fact the Bluetooth get sync but it cannot download the contacts or call history. My contact list is less than 1k

actually problem exists with all ios17 devices…!!! i tried the apple store and hundai nothing worked..!! better to wait for another software update by apple

In fact my actual problem is my IPhone 13 is not getting sync with my Hyundai Creta. I can receive calls thru Bluetooth. But my contacts or call history doesn’t get linked. If I reset it will but once the engine is switched off it will not get connected again

Yes, this works for me at first time sync. But after successful sync with your steps, later when I switch off/On Car or off/On Bluetooth from Mobile, the iPhone connects to Car Bluetooth without Contact sync even starting. Does your car work consistently with contacts sync even when car ON/Off ?
Is your Creta with Wireless CarPlay Infotainment system or with Wired CarPlay system in car(to understand if your car has different firmware than my 2020 Creta with Wired only CarPlay)
I updated 17.1.1 but it still did not work. Matthew Daniels in the thread also had suggested few steps and I tried all of them but it did not work. Is your Creta 2020 model or 2021 model? For Mathew, maybe it works since his car is 2021 model.

Currently on IOS 17.2, having 15 pro max and tried all the above steps but none of them worked. Pls update if anybody found a solution for this. Mine is Creta 2020 SX(o) with wired carplay.
In fact I had contacted Hyundai and they don’t have an issue. This all happened after the IOS update if I recall 16 last or early 17
