So when me and my friends are trying to share our location one of theirs says ‘Expired Location’ before the location could even load in. I’m the Find My app it’s also says no location found. I was wondering why was that.

I was not able to see my wife’s location but she could see mine. This is what worked for me.
Go to Settings
>Privacy and Security
>Location services
>Share my Location
There should be a list of people that you are sharing location with (or trying to share location with).
Find the Friend or Family member you are having trouble sharing location with. (In my case this was done on my wife’s phone.) If there is a message “Johnny cannot see your location” click on their name and press share location and they should now see you.
Guys we had the same issue trying to figure this out. What you really want to do is make sure all your share my location buttons are on and nobody is blocked on anywhere 2nd definitely trying blocking then unblocking if sharing location expires again trying turning off phones and if it happens again….. go to find my iPhone you should see the person that is sharing their location with you and not having any expiring issues and next to their name it should say share and click on share and that should work with the expiring problem.!!!
I found I was blocked in the contacts email and then it switched he was blocked in my email so check email messages and phone blocked contacts seems to be the issue!

THIS WORKED FOR ME! We both “blocked” eachother and then unblocked eachother and it’s now working :)
I actually just had him block my contact and then unblock it.
Just block the person and unblock them. It worked like a charm for my daughter and I
Block the person you are having an issue with and immediately unblock them. Check to see if you can now share location. It works for my daughter and I.

So if it’s not a blocked email or blocking and unblocking doesn’t work. Click on their contact and if you see an email address listed in their info, click it and click do not suggest email. Nothing else worked for me then we tried that.
Someone asked if my posted solution (reset network settings) continued to be good, and the answer is yes; we've had no other problems.

GUYS!!!! I FIGURED IT OUT TODAY!!! They were blocked in my email on both our phones we didn’t do it either!
