i need to know how many watts does the macbook air m1 charging cable (USB C to USB C) is capable of carrying and also does it have a e-marker chip in it? please help me out i can’t find this anywhere

MacBook Air 13-inch with M1 chip which exact charger do I use for this laptop MacBook Air 13-inch with M1 chip, USB as my 30W USB-C charger doesn't seem to be working right now so I'm not sure if I have the right one. I'm not the best with this stuff. I have to keep plugging it and unplugging it in before it eventually starts charging.

Unfortunately, buying a new Apple charger and cable is a bit expensive for me right now. I have a 20W Apple iPhone USB-C adapter and a Samsung USB-C to USB-C cable. Can I safely use this combination to charge my MacBook Air M3? I understand that it might charge slowly, but I just want to be sure it won’t damage the MacBook or battery. Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

Find the Model:

You need to find the model and then google the wattage --and there you go.

Go to: Apple Menu
Click: About this Mac
View: Top Two Lines ([type], and then [inch], [Year]
