Maybe a Dead Pixel?

Not sure if this is just some weird bug with Sonoma or a hardware defect. Noticed the bottom left of my MacBook Pro 14 screen seemed to have a bright pixel at the corner on the bottom left. Thought it was a dead pixel and decided to use some full screen color tests in the browser where it was showing however I noticed when it flipped to the screensaver, it wasn't there? Anyone have any ideas?

A bright pixel isn't dead; it's "stuck".

If the issue has gone away, there's nothing to do. It may well be a screen fault, but until something actually fails, and stays that way, there's nothing to do.

Generally, dead and stuck pixels, unless their occurrence meets certain criteria on number and placement, are not considered cause for repair. Each maker has its own acceptance criteria so generalizations on repair policies are not productive.
