I’m trying to send a video I made thru text on my iPhone 12, but I get a message that says it is too big. Then it asks if I want to make a smaller clip so I can send it

Cannot delete video that is too large to send via text I added a video to a text, tried to send it and somehow managed to have the "edit video" disappear before I could edit it. Now it won't send the video (says I have to have iMessage enable to send this message). iMessage is enabled, but it won't send and there's no way to remove it from the text. iPhone video sent to Android yields poor quality 3gp file. I have a 2023 Macbook Pro and a 2022 Android phone. iPhone videos sent to the phone are poor quality 3gp, which are not improved if opened on my Macbook. I'd read that this is a problem with texting. What can be done to fix this?
