iPhone over ride

So I was in the bath and my phone was on the floor and some of the water went on it and my phone was low so I put emergency override and then put it on charge I left it for a while and went to watch YouTube on my PlayStation I looked back wanting to go on my phone and it won’t turn on I have tried the 30 seconds holding down thing..my phone is cold but just won’t turn on or charge. Can anyone help me?

Hey Apple_questionsAnswer,

If the iPhone was exposed to liquid, it may needs to be physically examined by a technician.

Before doing so, try the steps in this article: If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen.

If the steps above do not help, reach out to Apple Support here: Get Support. They will be able to help determine next steps towards a resolution.

Take care.

That was an exceptionally bad idea.

In all likelihood, the phone will have to be replaced. Liquid damage is not repairable. Attempting to charge it when wet more than likely fried something.
