My iPhone heats up on the left side of the screen between the volume buttons and the SIM card tray, after 2-3 minutes using safari.I used to have an iPhone 8 Plus and it never got warm when using Safari. And while charging , it's **** hot.

Hi Shuravi85,

Let's make sure your iPhone is up-to-date with the latest version of iOS:

Update your iPhone or iPad

If you're not seeing a message that your iPhone needs to cool down, then it is not overheating:

If your iPhone or iPad gets too hot or too cold

It can be normal for your iPhone to be warm under use, especially when charging.,

If you've only just gotten your iPhone, it's going to expending extra energy indexing, downloading, and syncing your information from a first time set up.

To check to make sure no unexpected app is using a lot of battery, check for battery usage here:

About the battery usage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

My phone is on the latest version of iOS 17.0.3. I don't use it when it's charging. I understand that in the process of use the phone should heat up, but usually it happens more or less evenly. But my phone is heated only in one place I wrote about above. I checked the battery usage in applications, no application consumes a lot of charge. I contacted support in the application, the phone passed the online test and there were no errors. But the left side of the screen continues to warm up for no apparent reason, and the rest of the phone will remain cold. And it causes me discomfort and frustration. In 5 years of use, the iPhone 8 has never faced the problem that it warms up in one place. And with 14 plus I've been suffering for two months after the purchase.

I don't think it's because of updates, it started a week after the purchase, then I had iOS 16, I contacted support and they advised to update to iOS 17, but it didn't help. Google search say all iPhone 14 plus are like that. Warranty repairs cannot be made because the phone does not overheat until the warning of overheating.

The warranty service won't be able to help until the phone burns to ****.
