Log out of all my Apple ID devices changing my password hasn’t worked

Hi, opened the wrong html so want to sure whoever cannot access anything. Have changed my applied password and it asked if I wanted to log all other devices out, said yes, but it hasn’t. Can still access all other devices. How to I do a remote shut down on them? Changed my password now another 3 times but never gives me the option to block the devices until the new password is entered. Pretty frustrating knowing someone could be wandering around in there. Have changed as many passwords as quickly as I could ie banks etc but really need to block this person (if they’re even there 🤔

iPhone 11, iOS 16

Hello jess837,

We'd be happy to provide you with some information. Simply opening a link by mistake doesn't guarantee you're account or device has been compromised. All of Apple's hardware and operating systems have security built-in and keeping your device up to date is the best way to keep it secure. You can learn more here: Apple Platform Security - Apple Support

As for your Apple ID, if you changed the password and have Two-Factor Authentication enabled, no one can sign in unless they have your password and have access to a verification code. Unless you have reason to believe your Apple ID has been compromised, changing your password should be enough to keep your account secure. If you think your account was compromised, these are the steps to resolve the issue: If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support

When you change your password your account is not removed from the device but is signed out and challenged with your password. Removing your Apple ID from your devices leaves them vulnerable to theft because it would disable Find My and Activation Lock. If you want to remove your account, you can learn how to do that here: View and remove your devices that are associated with Apple ID purchases - Apple Support

Again, changing your password and using Two-Factor Authentication should be enough to protect your account.

Thanks.
