Equivalent key on German Keyboard from a Romanian one - Login screen

Hello, i am in a bit of a problem,

I have setup many years ago a password on my MacBook Pro which at the time had a Romanian Keyboard.

Now i have upgraded to another Macbook Pro and restored a backup.

As it completed successfully, i‘ve got the login screen.

When I used the same character that I used on the Romanian keyboard for my password, it doesn‘t get to log me in, shakes as in if it is false. Does anyone have an equivalent keymap for the two languages?

I would need some help if anyone has had this problem.

It would be easier if you would tell us which character or characters are not working when you type them. Keymaps have 4 layers with 50 or so keys on each.

Do you by chance see a little icon at the top right of the login screen? If you are lucky, clicking on that would give you a list of keyboards to use when logging in.
