Apple Watch network connection update issue solved…

Updated iphone12 pro to 15 pro.

New series 5 watch repair, pairing failed “no internet connection” for update.

Did all the trouble shooting steps recommended, reset watch, install uninstall watch app etc…

Tried pairing with old iPhone 7 laying around. Was able to establish connection… strange, realized that my home network was not the issue(even after doing the router restart trouble shooting yada yada)

Did speed test on my new iPhone 15 pro, I hit 250mbs dl which did not make sense as I have gigabit. Router troubleshooting etc no bueno.

SOLUTION

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Retried speed test got the 850mbs I expected. Had the feeling this would solve network pairing issue with watch.

It did! Able to update watch and pair to iPhone 15 pro.
