Apple Watch Ultra Draining w/WOS10

Since updating to WATCH OS10.1 and new IPhone 15, the watch isn’t charging fully, even after all the back end mucking around with settings..which shouldn’t be an issue either. Optimizing or not. Also the watch is just draining after a year without a single issue.

THERE IS A BUG. Resetting, etc. Nothing is fixing this. Long time Apple user and I’ve done all the traditional fixes, resets, videos on YouTube and even went to Apple Store two days ago. This has not become an issue or investigation yet for Apple or at least it has not been acknowledged. After spending this much on a Watch and Phone..I’d love for it to work or at least for Apple to acknowledge there is a bug and a fix is coming.

If the battery drains too fast after an update, see all the replies to:

WatchOS 7.5 battery drain - Apple Community

FWIW, in some cases, unpairing the watch, completely erasing it, then pairing and restoring the backup will resolve the battery draining issue after an update. (Simply unpairing and pairing again may not work.)

Also, some people have found that simply waiting a few days after an update resolves the battery draining problem.
