How to fix background sounds on iPhone?

Seems to be a bug in the update.

Report this to Apple...

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
4. Proceed from there as necessary

Troubleshooting iPhone Audio:

Then, by all means, report it to Apple, as I recommended in my previous reply.

Seems like an important fix, in part. In inform Apple of it, as I recommended in my previous reply.

I found that it was cutting out randomly and when it would the volume would change and get really loud. I fixed this by going into settings and manually changing the volume for the sound I had chosen and the volume for when it plays for media. Ira still cutting in and out though

Same problem here. Ever since updating to iOS 17, the background noise randomly cuts off and doesn’t work. Stop breaking things Apple! Slow down development and make iOS more stable!

I actually took the advice that TheLittles suggested and reported the issue

Hello is this issue planned to be fixed anytime soon? It is extremely annoying and makes me not want to use my iphone. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

We are all users here on this user-to-user site. We have no way of knowing what Apple might be planning or when they might do something.
