Open the VCF file on phone
Sometimes VCF files cannot be opened in mobile mail, and sometimes they can be opened but the file content is missing. Is there any solution?
iPhone XR, iOS 16

If you want to open VCF file on phone then we recommend you to opt Corbett Convert VCF to vCard as it allows to convert vCard format to easily access into phone as it allows to import vCard file and it also helpful when user want to combine multiple VCF files into one.

Hi there Maggie0314,
Thank you for posting to Apple Support Communities.
We understand you have a question about opening up vCard files. Is that correct?
If the cards open at times, can you have the email sent to you again? Perhaps it did not download correctly from the mail server.
You can also import vCard files using iCloud.com. See here: Import, export, or print contacts on iCloud.com - Apple Support

Take care.
Hi Mattew_J5,
Thanks for the reply.
But I'm still confused about this situation.
I sent a vCard from Outlook on my computer to others.
If someone open this vCard with a computer, it is normal.
But if it is opened with an iphone, three situations will occur on different iPhones. (Same vcard, but it is opened in different iPhones)
Do you have any thoughts on this issue?
Hey Maggie0314,
There is no directly supported way to import a .vcf file, or vCard, on an iPhone because contacts on your iPhone tend to be synced from accounts like iCloud or another email provider. Users that are able to successfully open and import the file may be following the process to import directly on the iCloud website or using a third-party app. Different scenarios will provide different results.
We hope this helps.
Kindest Regards.
