Macbook Pro A1989 thunderbolt problem

Hi everyone, I don't know which chat to ask if it's where to ask, but such a problem, I have macbook pro 2019, thunderbolt port 1 is only charged from the power bank, if I plug it in from the outlet, then it charges for a few seconds and turns off and so on in a circle. And if I want to connect a USB flash drive to this port, for example, he doesn't see it. Maybe someone has any assumptions? Interesting to hear, thank you!

Mac Charging:

Assuming you taking about a surge protector, then it seems you may have too good of one. So, downgrade to one of lesser wattage...

See if anything her helps...

Troubleshooting Mac Charge:

Refer to the following....

A. Reset the SMC and your NVRAM:

(Applies to Intel-Based Macs Only): Sometimes when changes are made to the system(i.e. Updates), system configurations (i.e. for Power) become manipulated, technically. So, reset the SMC and NVRAM. Try performing each thrice. It may take sometime, being certain you have the time to perform these resets.

B. Try a New Charger:

C. A Few Links to Refer to for Power:

Why the Issue?:

There is simply just not enough power to the port to sustain the usage --so a docking station will do just fine. The J5 USB-C Dual HDMI Docking Station allows for many device to work. I can connect lots up to it. It even has an external USB-C port for additional power.

Getting Multiple Devices to Work:

Look Into Getting a Docking Station:

Docking stations are created and manufacture to use multiple devices at once. The J5 USB-C Dual HDMI Docking Station allows for many device to work. I can connect lots up to it. It even has an external USB-C port for additional power.

How can he not have enough energy to recharge himself?

Most docking stations have their own power brick/source that plugs into a wall outlet. To handle the addition-device power draw you’d use the additional female USB-C port to plug in the Mac’s own power brick. As a result, you won’t lose a port on your Mac. Without the port, you’d be plugging I two devices.
