Garageband recodring issue

Hello,

I have a problem with my garageband. When I record something through my microphone (shure mv51) or through normal built in microphone, the recorded sound turns out veeery quiet.

Idk what to do. I have the max volume on my laptop settings, as well as on garageband.

I did everything from discussion below but also didn't work.

Can anyone tell me what might be the problem? I have the same issue when I plug in my piano (sound slowly becomes quiet). But when I play on my akai midi, everything is ok.

I didn't have this problem before. Maybe I switched something in garageband settings?

Please help. I'd be so grateful.
