error code 50

I am using a 2018 Mac Mini, with a 3TB external hard drive where I store music, which is only half full. The other night I left my machine on and apparently OS Sonoma 14.0 was downloaded. Now I cannot move music folders to the external device because of an "unexpected error' code 50. What do I do now? Anyone?

Error (-54) when trying to import and play music from CD's on Super Drive after upgrading to Sonoma 14.4.1 Recently upgraded to Sonoma 14.4.1 on my 202 MacBook Pro laptop, and it appears the USB Super Drive no longer functions properly with Music. I receive an error message (-54) when I try to listen to or import songs from a CD to Music. Any thoughts?
