If I block someone’s number, will it also delete the log of our previous calls from their phone?

I blocked someone and I am just curious on if it gets rid of the previous calls from our call list. I don’t want them to have the idea that I did it. I tested it out after finding an article saying it does and it seems as if it does so I’m not sure if it’s just my phone glitching or it’s a generalized thing.
