iPhone lock screen does not ask for password or Touch ID to unlock

Hello everyone.

With the latest iOS 17.0.3 update, the iPhone SE (2nd generation) lock screen does not require a password or Touch ID to unlock. It is a critical bug and difficult to detect because the authorized fingerprint is normally used to unlock the phone.

Restarting, erasing any fingerprints, or disabling/enabling Touch ID does not solve the problem so for greater safety I have reinstalled the phone.

Searched for information on this and found the same issue with Face ID (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESndmLO24LQ) and also saw a user with the same scenario as me (https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/739704).

Has anyone else had the same problem?

Thank you.

Regards.

iPhone SE (2nd generation)
