iPhone 14 Pro battery draining quickly

Anyone else having issue with the battery health for iPhone 14 pro, especially after the latest iOS (17) update? If so, has anyone find any solutions to this?

In the past few weeks it went from 100% to 95% in the blink of an eye and I haven't changed anything in my usage or the apps I usually use. The phone is 10 months old, I feel it is just too new for the battery to be degrading like this. I always knew that Apple devices have these issues with the battery, but it just starts to be worse and worse with every device they release...

Unfortunately Apple Support has been totally useless, telling me essentially to stop using certain features (like "Always on display") or reset the phone and manually set it up. All of this while still being in warranty and paying for the extra warranty on top of this. Super disappointed in the solutions and the support received.

While I was curious to know when 1% battery health is dropped, here I found out: How to Stop Battery Health Drainage of iPhone 14 Pro, that when 25 charge cycles( 100% battery discharge ) are completed then 1 percent battery health is dropped. This means that how we use our iPhone and how quickly the battery charge is drained will impact battery health. I wish if battery health would drop after 100 charge cycles that would have been awesome.

I would consider you lucky my iPhone 14 Pro after 9 months or so is at 89% Max capacity, and I’ve also noticed that the battery isn’t the most efficient. The first days after I bought the phone I could use it for 2 full days without recharging, but now it lasts me half a day, and i’m in school so I don’t use it that much.

if someone has some tips for me feel free to respond🫡

Since the latest update my battery drains within hours, it used to last 48 hours. I’m not on my phone that much and I close all my apps. I deleted some apps to see if that would help and then I googled “why is my battery draining within hours” and found this forum and that I’m not the only one encountering this issue. So what do I do can I undo the latest update? This is some BS and Apple better look into it and find solution to this very annoying and very inconvenient situation!!

I have same problem, even more. I talked to Apple support and got the most stupid and ignorant reply possible. In my work I have to use YouTube. The trained operator at support told med, that they "do not own YouTube" and since I use that on my phone, they have no responsibility about battery on the phone. Then he talked to me at I was 10 years old about battery are made of chemicals and the design the phones only to run their own apps.

My god im so mad at them, and really got a deep dent I my view on apple. I will very very carefully think about my next phone. I am in fact so upset that I will stall all plans on getting new iMacs to our desks.
