The 15 pro max main camera is touted as 48 mpx but actually shoots at 24 mpx
The Apple page says that the main camera is 48 megapixel but it only shoots at 24 megapixel. What gives?

On iPhone 15 models, the Main camera resolution is set to 24 MP by default. You can switch between 12 MP, 24 MP, and 48 MP in camera settings
