After the recent update on my iPhone XR my sounds went back to default sounds. I tried to reassign them but some are missing, including my favorite Barking Dog. How do I recover it?

Barking dog is available as a default ringtone:
Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringtone > Classic > Bark

I have found the original dog bark sound but it now costs 99p It’s under ringtones in iTunes Store.
I’ve now put it back on appropriate contacts & the word is good again.
Go to iTunes Store, search for barking dog text tone. You will then see Alert Tones for .99 “Dog Barking Authentic Sound Effects.” A message will appear stating:
Dog Barking
Set as Default Text Tone
(among other choices)
choose Default Text Tone and it will be in your settings as your text tone
I was told to go to the tone store and purchase it for $1.29 if I wanted to use it, imagine that !!
So re Dog bark, I went onto App Store & searched and paid .99p to download it. I’m now happy.
Apple made many such changes (tone placements) with the iOS 17 release.

Thank you. I did find it there, but on my iPhone after this latest update, Bark is not available under any of the other categories. I have been using it for Text for a long time but it is now not listed with Text available sounds. I wish I knew how to get Bark assigned to Text again.
I have bought my last iPhone!! I will go back to android, Apple has started charging for apps that was free along with the text tones that I used. They removed the dog barking from the free tones and now have it under ring tones for $.99. Out of all the tones they have it was the only one I could hear! Give it back to us!!

I use the dog bark text for my clients. I work in the animal industry. So I am able to decipher who is a work call and who is not. It’s very inconvenient to have lost this feature. How can I get it back??
Not having Bark for a text notification sucks bad.. that’s the only notification that my 80 yr old ears can hear,, you give it to me on ring tone but I want it for text tone, I’m missing texts and getting in trouble, how do I get it back, I had it on my old I phone but not on this supposedly fantastic I phone15 pro max… how about it .. I’m serious…?
Same issue with iPhone 14- “duck” tone no longer there! Missing text messages as none of the tones are loud enough! Why should I have to pay for all of the original text, ring and notification tones that had been available to me for the past 10 years??
Why would they take away barking dog in cricket without telling you?
