Not able to forward/ backward video in Safari browser

While watching videos in facebook in Safari browser, I am trying to forward the video by using 10 second forward or backward buttons , but those buttons not working , even slider bar also useless in doing so.

Any workaround or setting to be done

iPhone 14, iOS 17

If this is the first time you've experienced this issue, we recommend restarting the iPhone. Restarting the iPhone has been known to resolve software related concerns. We've provided the steps below.

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

For future reference, the steps are in this article: Restart your iPhone.


If issue continues, test in a different web browser. This helps determine if the issue is related to the web browser or the website. If the issue happens on both web browsers, the issue may be related to the website.
