It has been couple of years now.
When the stage manager was rolled put I reached Apple to let them know, that the 'Jul 17' will bring some serious issues a day before and the next day of that date. Just imagine having the calendar minimised and thinking that it is July 17th... but it's not...
Anyway Apple seems busy adding wallpapers to macOS.

Stage Manager was introduced in Ventura yes,
Minimized I never found to have a practical purpose...it is a bit of a throw back— today see Full Screen Apps, or Command H to hide & Command Tab (HUD.)
