Iphone trade-in with fedex and 14day time limit

So the new iphone 15 got delivered Thursday @ 7pm, I went to 5 different fedex "dropoff" locations Friday/Saturday they were all suspect... basically just lay it on the table and fedex will come get it type of situations and I wasn't about to do that. Fedex in my area is a dumpster fire... I managed to find a "dropbox" at a bank close to my work so the following Monday I dropped it off, I just checked and they still have yet to pick it up. Curious what if these fine workers delay past my 14 day time limit to return the phone?
