Safari and Chrome

I have iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019. I used to use Safari but downloaded Chrome because a business app was available only there at time. Now I have difficulty using Safari because Chrome takes over irregularly but often. I think it is partly because keyboard errors but also because it is some prefererred over Safari. Does anybody know better?

No, it means certain browser functions will automatically be handled by Chrome. Unless you take steps to avoid them while using Safari. You can use both browsers. There are third-party apps that can let you choose which app does what, such as Browsers.
