Data recovery

My cracked iPhone 12 mini got wet in a pool the last backup it had was in 2021 I’m wondering if I can still access the data that was on it and transfer it to a new iphone

The latest backup said it happened at 2:30 am the night of the concert. When I got a new phone, we restored from the most recent backup and I was assured all of my photos from the concert would come through. They factory reset my phone (I was trading it in) and sent me on my way. None of the photos after 5 pm came through. (They are not on my icloud either). I see a lot of software advertised as data recovery for after a phone has been wiped. Is there any hope with any of that software or are they scams? How to transfer data from a broken iPhone. Can I transfer data off an iPhone that can’t turn on. Or can a iPhone that was ran over be fixed.

Yes, you can restore from your last backup in 2021.

You won't be able to get any current data since you didn't back it up.
