How to watch a movie in landscape mode

When you mentioned you unlocked it, do you mean the Portrait Orientation Lock button? If that's already been done, are you still experiencing the same thing?

If you try a different app, does the screen go to landscape mode?

Which app are you attempting to move to landscape mode? Some apps may not have the option for landscape mode.
