FAKE TIME SENSITIVE APP NOTIFICATION FOR AN APP I DONT HAVE

Hi there,


I got this notification pop up on my mac screen last night......Ive never downloaded an app or even looked at a website called 'crunchyroll' dont know how it could have my payment details?......silly me clicked on 'leave on'...anybody else got these and do I have a virus/malware now? Cheers !

Not a virus. Open Notifications in System Preferences and remove the problem notification if there is one.


If there is no notification to remove, you may have malware but that takes human action to make happen.


If it pops up on a particular website visit just ignore it and try and stay away from the site.

My guess is someone installed something without your knowledge.

There are no notifications, no one has access to my computer and I dont have an apps installed on my mac except the ones that were pre installed by apple. So weird. Thanks !
