battery charge mismatch
I have iphone 15 plus and have charging limit to 80%.
however, today I noticed strange behaviour wherein my phone was showing charge at 82%, even with the limit set.

The battery percentage is an estimation, so it may not always be completely accurate. When you have the 80% limit enabled, it will charge the battery to "around" 80%, not "exactly" 80%.
When you choose 80% Limit, your iPhone will charge up to about 80 percent and then stop charging. If the battery charge level gets down to 75 percent, charging will resume until your battery charge level reaches about 80 percent again.
