iphone 11 earpiece volume low

I see that previous threads have talked about this issue with a lot of people saying the plastic on their phone was affecting their sound indicator. Once they removed it the problem was fixed. I do not have plastic on my phone but I do have a glass screen protector and an otter box. Any ideas of what to try or where the sound indicator is?

In my experience, most of the time people have audio issues with their receiver (top speaker) because of debris building up on the mesh material.

You can try purchasing blue tack putty to clean the receiver out. If the issue persists after cleaning, either the mesh just can't be cleaned further (my current issue) or the speaker is failing. For your particular phone model, I believe this would require a screen replacement.
