How to Transfer iTunes Match library to a new Apple ID account
A couple of months ago I subscribed to iTunes Match. After that occurred I began to have a variety of problems with the Apple ID I used for everything. I decided to create a new Apple ID and slowly move everything to that new account on my MacBook Air. For iTunes in the new account I pointed the app to the location of all my music on an external hard drive. This morning I discovered that in iTunes in the new account all the music is there but some of the display fields are completely devoid of data. In the past I spent a lot of time putting dates into the description field so that I could have a chronological listing of favorite tunes, mostly old Top 40 songs. The information is still present in my original Apple ID account. Is there some set of support files in need to copy to the new account to get the
missing data back in the new account?
