Apple Watch Monthly Challenge - Progress not showing

I had this issue too. As of today I can go to awards and it shows the last completed month, but if I select “Show more” under monthly challenges and it shows the current month and progress.

I had this problem as well. Here is what I did to solve the problem. I first made sure the Apple Watch (Series 9) was connecting to the same WiFi network as my iPhone SE 2. Next, I turned off my Apple Watch. Next I turned off my iPhone. Next, I restarted my Apple Watch allowing it to fully boot up before turning on my Apple Watch. Finally, I turned on my iPhone. After opening the Fitness app on the Apple Watch, I could then see all of my Challenge medals including the Limited Edition Challenge medals.

Yes, that's right. On your phone, go to Fitness > Awards > Show More > Monthly Challenges > Show All, and it will be there. Way less user-friendly than it used to be.

I fixed this by restarting both my phone and my watch. I can now see the current challenge again. I have CarPlay and sometimes that won’t work, but a restart usually fixes that as well. Always worth a try!

I was having the same problem but for some reason the December challenge only appears after you have reached that challenge for a particular day. December challenge is a move streak for 22 days. It won’t show on the fitness app until you have reached your movement for that day. Apple needs to fix this and let the challenge show up all the time. But for now, if you met your daily challenge check the fitness app after reaching your daily goal. I bet the challenge will be there and reflect how you are doing.

I had to encouple and recouple the Watch and then the Progress continued. It was a Little Bit nervous, because I had to do all my settings again, also my Apple Pay Cards. Annoying…

I did power down my watch, and the my iPhone. Waited a minute, the powered op my iPhone and the my watch. Waited a minute and the the challenges did pop up.

Apple had messed it up, sure hope for a fix very soon.

I just got off the phone with apple support. They had to transfer me to 3 different departments, and I finally ended up with the 'health app' department. They had me send screenshots of my 24 January workouts, and a screenshot showing my January challenge being 0 out of 28. They opened a case for my issue and are supposed to get back to me on Wednesday. Fingers crossed!!

I have the same problem with the 04/2024 monthly challenge. He does make the Progress very sporadic. Had to double the movement goal six times and p.E. yesterday it doesn‘t count. Now I take a look today, because I reseted the Watch via Crown and Activate Button. Additionlly I also decoupled the Watch and coupled her again.

I just have an Apple phone and have this same issue since the newest update. The challenge progress for this month does not appear. I can only see past challenges. So this isn’t a pairing issue.

Another thought as to why December challenge isn’t showing up could be because it is a streak challenge…not one you can skip a day and catch up with. If you don’t continue the streak you won’t get the award!
