Apple Watch Monthly Challenge - Progress not showing

Im also absolutely heartbroken I wanted to get all of 2023 and 2024 but it just reset on me and I can't do anything about even in April, and this is not a April fools joke just because of the day that I'm posting this.

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.

Just updated iPhone to IOS 17.2 and still no dice, my monthly challenge isn’t popping up still. I reset phone annd watch to sync up together and still no monthly challenge for December. Apple will need to produce another update with bug fix on this. 🥹💔 I really need this last month so I can get my perfect year! Please Apple!

Hi Carol! Did Apple support got back to you? I have the same issue. Well in my case the January challenge never showed up at all. I can see Feb challenge now but still no January even after the update. Please let us know if they gave you any recommendations! Thanks! 😊

My monthly challenge on december only appeared after a day I complete it. Luckily it was not month’s end yet. But for February, still didn’t show up even though I have completed the monthly challenge. It would be nice if the fitness app could have a button or option tu sync the data and refresh if the fitness progress is not updated as it should be. I still want my monthly challenge badge.

I had this issue too. As of today I can go to awards and it shows the last completed month, but if I select “Show more” under monthly challenges and it shows the current month and progress.

I had to encouple and recouple the Watch and then the Progress continued. It was a Little Bit nervous, because I had to do all my settings again, also my Apple Pay Cards. Annoying…

I have just noticed this issue. At the beginning of June 2024 the challenge was there....but now it has disappeared.

Have you received a response? I've spent the past 2 days on calls and told I need to install a

profile on my phone to collect data for the engineers. It’s not loading though so trying again tomorrow. I’ve also sent screenshot.

i got told today to just see if I get a new challenge tomorrow for the new month!

I have the same problem with the 04/2024 monthly challenge. He does make the Progress very sporadic. Had to double the movement goal six times and p.E. yesterday it doesn‘t count. Now I take a look today, because I reseted the Watch via Crown and Activate Button. Additionlly I also decoupled the Watch and coupled her again.

The new update is awful. It is a whole new experience and is too big of a change. The monthly fitness challenge for January disappeared. What kind of fitness are you promoting. Shame on you Apple.

No my awards have stoppped showing up. The last one that appears is Dec. I met both my Jan and Feb challenges but they’re no where to be found.
