Unable to transfer FaceTime call from iPhone to MacBook Pro.

I'm unable to transfer FaceTime calls from my iPhone 14 Pro Max to my March 2022 MacBook Pro 14". I am able to transfer them from my iPhone to my iPad Pro without issue. I can open FaceTime on the iPad and it offers to transfer, or the notification pops up asking if I want to transfer. However, if I open FaceTime on my MacBook, it does not offer me the ability to transfer, and no notification comes up to switch devices even when I bring my phone nearby. I have checked FaceTime settings on all devices, and I'm logged into the same account on all three devices. I also set all the "Can be reached at" settings to the same options on all three devices. I still cannot transfer/handoff a FaceTime call from iPhone to Mac.

Hi there culgan06,


In order to use Handoff to transfer FaceTime calls to your Mac, your Mac must be running macOS Venture or later. If you are running Venture or later version of macOS, but cannot use Handoff to transfer the FaceTime call, make sure that you've got the Handoff features enabled on your Mac: Use Handoff to continue tasks on your other devices - Apple Support and that you are following the steps in Hand off a FaceTime call from your iPhone to your other Apple devices - Apple Support to complete the hand off.


If you are and still cannot use Handoff to transfer your calls after that, see if the issue continues in a new user. This will help us isolate a potential conflict with software or settings specific to your user account: New user or group setup on Mac - Apple Support
