iphone slips off from my hand

Hi there, I have a sweaty hands so it's kinda easy for my phone to slip off from my hand and today it did. It fell at the height of ~2cm while not having a case. My question is: Will it cause any potential damage to the internal parts of the phone and is the aluminum frame (which is the part that contacted the table's surface) durable enough to withstand that drop? Looking forward to a reply!

P/s: I'm using an iPhone 14

The fall from a height of 2-3cm should not have caused any damage, either to the internal or external components.

However, I recommend purchasing a back cover soon, possibly knurled on the sides, which allows you to handle the device more safely.

Given it would be easier for you to drop you phone due to sweat in your hands, you REALLY need to buy a protective iPhone case for your iPhone. One preferably with grippy sides, which will help you not let the phone slip from your hands. Dropping your iPhone can absolutely cause damage and if you do it often enough, it's more and more likley.

You can buy a case from Apple, from BestBuy or you have literally thousands of case options on Amazon.

You say you own iPhone 14. Here is a link to cases on Amazon for iPhone 14 (but make sure it's not a 14 Pro or 14 Pro Max) --> https://www.amazon.com/s?k=iphone+14+cases+with+grip&crid=3VMYZ5JK4Y2ZR&sprefix=iphone+14+cases+with+grip%2Caps%2C102&ref=nb_sb_noss_1

The Speck Cases have lots of grip built in, which might be a better option for you.
