The portrait mode does not work (front camera), iPhone 14

The front camera takes lots of time to focus, even though there is enough light, etc. Today I noticed that the portrait mode does not work on the front camera. When I'm taking a selfie everything looks okay, but when I look at the photo in the gallery - it looks like a regular photo without any depth as it is supposed to be. Any help will be much appreciated.

Hello 361km,

Are you able to adjust the depth in post using these steps:

"Adjust Depth Control and Portrait Lighting

After you take a photo in Portrait mode, you can adjust the level of background blur and the intensity of Portrait Lighting effects.

  1. Tap a Portrait mode photo in your library.
  2. Tap Edit, then tap the Depth Control buttonNo alt supplied for Image at the top of the screen to adjust Depth Control or Portrait Lighting buttonNo alt supplied for Image to adjust Portrait Lighting. A slider appears below the photo.
  3. Drag the slider left or right to adjust the effect. A gray dot above the slider marks the original value for the photo.
  4. Tap Done."

Additional details can be found here: Use Portrait mode on your iPhone

Let u know the results.

Cheers!
