Airport Extreme Not Recognized by Printers

I use an Apple Airport Extreme router for my wireless network. The power blinked off and back on. Both Brother MFC printers went offline and are unable to see my wireless network. All other devices in the house are connected to the network. I suspect there's a printer IP address issue. Does anyone know if there's a way to restore printer IP addresses using the Airport Extreme?

Adding Brother wireless printer to lan I'm having difficulty adding a wireless printer to a recently installed AirPort Extreme ... MBP running OS11.x The difficulty seems to be that the router [temporarily] tethered to the printer [Brother 2270DW] will not assign an IP address to the printer's network card...can't seem to get past the printer's Apipa address [this is a necessary step to be able to access the printer's web based network configuration interface and so to set this up for wireless printing over the household lan] the AE base station was simply added to the existing wireless network and as such, does not make the wps 'button' available. Is this the wrong setup for adding a wireless printer? or could it be a faulty router? [it's second hand, and I haven't tried using it before now]. Oh, and both the router and printer were restored to factory defaults before starting.

Printing from a MacBook Air Issues I am trying to assist a customer who has a MacBook and an issue with connecting to a HP laserjet printer. This is a wireless issue, and her iPhone and my iPhone have no issues printing. This has just cropped up recently, and she has been able to print for a year before. Printer is about a year old. I have: 1) Turned off the printer; then rejoined the printer to the network 2) Turned off the MacBook, and forgot the network; then rejoined 3) Uninstalled the printer software and reinstalled 4) Powered down the modem/router (comcast standard issue) and powered up 5) Assigned a static IP address to printer The connection goes in and out. If it does managed to stay connected, then printing can take as long as 4 minutes to get the page printed. Whereas, the iPhone(s) print almost immediately. I am beginning to think that it may be the comcast issued modem/router. Either it needs replacement OR I could try and create a whole new wireless network and rejoin all devices. Anyone else had this issue?
