When setting up HomePod mini with iPhone get Setup Failed (-6753) message and cannot complete setup. Eventually figured out what was the cause: My iPhone did not have Touch or Passcode activated. When I activated a passcode for my phone I was then able to setup up my HomePod mini successfully with my iPhone.


It will be good for Apple to also allow iPhones to setup a Home-pod mini without the need for Touch or Passcode to be activated. Strangely it was not an issue when using my iPad to setup.
