Since the inception of the iPhone 1, we've all been fed this process and unfortunately the old narrative about Apple's exceptional performance and customer service, but recent experiences suggest otherwise; it's time to reevaluate. The crux of the matter isn't the service itself, but rather Apple's declining performance over the years, post the demise of its visionary creator.
As a road warrior, I'm grappling with significant issues that are hindering my productivity, and this has me contemplating a switch to Samsung's or Unplugged's ecosystem. My loyalty to Apple has been unwavering since 1997, but I'm sensing the need to bid adieu to a brand that once epitomized innovation and quality.
The decline in Apple's support infrastructure and foreign customer service is alarming, with the quality of its products and software taking a hit as well. The price-to-performance ratio is increasingly skewed, with devices feeling more like they're worth $100, rather than the $1000+ price tag they command. The software, too, is riddled with bugs, and a lack of knowledgeable English-speaking American customer service reps in the country, which is simply unacceptable in this day and age. It's a shame they can't even implement a much-needed private Security feature that 99% of other phones use with no problem. Anyway. Apple has become ridiculous.
