I want to sync my phone to iPad but they both have a different Apple ID

My Apple iPhone has a different Apple ID than my Apple iPad so it won’t let me change my IPad to same as my iPhone telling me id is already in use. Is there anyway I can get around this problem?

In that case, it’s as if different people own these devices, and therefore they can never have the same content merged from the two IDs.

To change your iPad to use your iPhone’s Apple ID, do this to the iPad first.
